My blogging experience

Well, I think that this experience with my blog was interesting; I enjoyed assisting every Tuesday to the computer laboratory. In my opinion the computers are technological tools that give facilities for learning English. I improve mi level of English.
In this moment I know more words and grammar rules.
One advantage of blogging in the English class is that learning with the computer is more entertaining and the relationship between the classmate and the teacher is more fluent.
One disadvantage of blogging in the English class is that infrastructure of the computer laboratory isn’t enough for the number of students, and the qualities of the computer are deficient for the school of Government of the University of Chile.

My Ideal Job

My ideal job would be a teacher, but not any teacher. I would like to teach in the University of Chile.
Another ideal job would be a Public manager, and I would like to work in the Education Department.
To work in this job I need to have different qualities and skills, for example I need to be patient, motivated at work and empathic. And I need to have the skills to organize human and materials resources. And I need skills to guide a group of people.
I would be good at this job because I think that I am a responsible person and this is necessary to be a better university teacher.
Finally I think that to find a job at public administration is more difficult than finding a job at the university, because the public managers have fewer possibilities to get fired.

My favourite subject

My favourite subject is micro-economy; this is the first time that I take it.

To take this subject, I had to pass mathematic II. The name of the teacher of micro-economy is Gonzalo Leyton, he is new in the School of Government, and he is a good teacher because he explains clearly. I like micro-economy, because it is a subject that let me understand how the economic of the different countries work, and how people decide, and how the government act.

I had to learnt different laws of the economy, for example the law of demand and law of offer. How taxes affect the social welfare, and in particular how it affect the welfare of producers and consumers.

Finally if I pass this subject in the next term I will take macro-economy. I hope that macro-economy is as good as micro-economy.

"Do Schools Kill Creativity"

Sir Ken Robinson talks about education, he says that it is important for the development of the society in the future.
He affirms that people are interested in the education.
Every child is creative but the school kills their creativity. Teachers do not explain to the kids that being wrong is common and necessary for the learning experience.
The educational system was created during the industrialism so the lessons taught were only the ones needed to succeed in an industry.
Today is necessary that people have a degree, magister and PhD to get a job, because we are living a process of academic inflation.
Finally, to encourage creativity in the children, we have to consider intelligence as diverse, dynamic and distinct.
In my opinion, I also think that the school does not pay enough attention to the importance of creativity and that that should be changed.

My future

Well, I think that the future is important for the personal development, especially that the people have dreams. In this moment I am studying Public Administration, in the second year, but in the near future I hope to finish this career.In the professional area, I am going to be a public manager in three or four years more. I expect to be the best in my area then to travel around the Latin-American countries to know different universities. I would like to apply to one of these universities.

In the personal area, I expect to get a good job and to save some money to buy a house or an apartment in Santiago center. After achieving this aim, I will leave my parent’s house. I think that living alone is very important to grow up.

Finally in my ideal future I will be married and I will have two children. I would like to travel with them around Europe. I would also like to write a personal book for my grandchildren for them to know about me.

The best in my area

I consider that the best in my area is Michelle Bachellet, the president of Chile .
I like her because she is a nice woman and I think that she has really good ideas for the development of our country.
I aslo like her as a figure because she was the first woman becoming president in Chile.This meant important changes in the development of the our politics and society because after it, women gain a more important rol into the families and protect and ask for their rights.
I consider that nowadays, she is the one who is doing the best performance in my area, because she is worried about our social welfare and protection.

My career

My career is called public management and is about the study of the government and the constitutional laws that regulate the different institutions of the chilean society.
I chose to study this because I think that it is very important for the development of the Chilean politics to have professional persons integrating the State.
I Like some subjects of this career for example, theory of the science and microeconomic.
I dislike some bad habits of the burocracy as the slow services and the lack of compromise of some goverment employees.
Finally, In the future I hope to success in all my jobs, to help the Chilean citizens and to be a happy person.

Photograph

The photograph shows the flag of my country called Chile. I was born here, in Santiago, the capital city. To me, this flag, even if it’s very simple, represent many important things.
The red color is the symbol of the blood lost by many patriotic people who fought to achieve the independence of our nation. The blue color with the star in the middle, symbolizes the pure sky that covers our territory (at least someday it was blue).
Finally, the white part means two things: the pure soul of the Chilean people and the beautiful snow of some of our mountains.
All of these colors and their meanings represent Chile, especially the original Chile, the one that was built by the effort of many citizens and the one that we should try to restate. We have to recover the blue sky, take care of our environment for not losing our snow and keep the love for our country.

My most precious possession

Well, my most precious possession is my family, because it is always with me, in the good moment or bad moment. I think that my family is the best family in the world. My mom is a great woman, she is 49 years old and she is very patient
with me. My dad is the most important man for me because he helps me to change my mistakes, and my brother always gives me good advice.
I trust in each member of my family and they trust in me, then I can talk with them about everything.
I have a dog and it also is my most precious possession because we grew up together.
And at last but not least the most important is my girlfriend.

I really love her.

MY LAST VACATIONS

My last vacations was in summmer of 2008, I went to the beach
and called con-con

This was the first time that I went to con-con and I think that is a great place because
is beautiful and the weather is nyce but a little could in the morning and nigth.
I went with my girlfriend and some friends and we arrived at the house of my girlfriend
which is near beach.

We stayed for six days, but I had to go back a
day before because I had to work.
We slept all morning and in the evening we went down to the beach to enjoy the sun and the sea and also we drank something and then we went to the disco.

During this trip I met new people and with my new friends we shared many great moments
for example when we went for a walk to the rocks

Finally the best moment was when I went with my girlfriend to Valparaiso because
together we did sighseeing in many differents places which were very beautiful.
I really liked this trip.

MY BEST FRIEND

hello my name is Jose

and the name of my best friend is Oscar

I met him in the high school in the first year of the high school

we had the same subject and we had the same teachers

but in the begining we did not talk because I thought that oscar was a boring people.

when we finished hig school we took differents roads

but I have good memories for him, for example

I remenber when we have a test we copy all the anserws for the test, and this is the greatest adventure we have had.

well I think that my best friend is a great people because I can trust for him

and I like the jokes of him

I think that we have many things in common for this I dont dislike anything about him.

My dearest memory about him is when we talk for first time beacause this was a good time.

I dont envy about him because we share all things

Finally I give a hug to him.

I`m José Ignacio Roa, I am eighteen years old.

I live in santiago in the district of estacion central. I live in my house with my parents.

I`ve one brother, and he is older than me.

Nowadays I am studying public administration, in the university of chile. I have been study since 2008. I love public administration and I also love my girlfriend.

I like football, my favourite sport team is " LA U " and I am happy because yesterday

my team won.

I like to read and to eat international food, going out whit my friends to different places and listening music.

I hate Colocolo , this is the worst team of Chile and I also hate this team fans that ask me money in the street.

In this moment I prefer to play tennis, but also play some other sports such as fotball and basketball when I have time.

Finally my favourite subject of the univesity is Ingles III because the teacher is very nice.
